Water Quality Impact - Morgantown Industrial Park (MIP) Gas Well Operations

The first round of fracking began at Morgantown Industrial Park (MIP) Sept. 30, 2011 and was completed on or about Nov. 20, 2011. In response to the fracking and the gas well operations we initiated an extensive and continuous water monitoring program. The program was initiated to help identify any possible water quality impacts resulting from the operations. Data from this monitoring is available here in an Excel spreadsheet.

As part of our public education program we are also providing Fracking Fluid Information and Drilling Fluid Information as well the below contact lists and various correspondence.

If you experience difficulty viewing any document provided here, please notify Chris Dale at cdale@mub.org.

Information on our local water quality is available in our Consumer Confidence Report.
