WV DEP Recognizes MUB
The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) recognized the Morgantown Utility Board (MUB) Friday by presenting the organization with an Environmental Excellence Award in the Municipal Stormwater Category.
Closing Caperton Trail from May 29 to 31
The Caperton Trail, from the Seneca Center to the Arboretum, will be closed Tuesday, May 29; Wednesday, May 30; and Thursday, May 31.
Flushing Fire Hydrants
The Morgantown Utility Board will be conducting fire hydrant flushing in various parts of its service area. Customers may experience variations in water pressure and/or discolored water during the tests.
MUB Provides Stormwater Education to Local Community
During the month of April, MUB helped local children and their parents celebrate Earth Day by distributing educational information and providing age-appropriate activities for the children.
MUB participated in the 2012 WVU Kids’ Fair and the Impact EARTH 5k and 10k race.
UPDATE: Caperton Trail closed, detour available
Due to construction, the Caperton Trail, near the Morgantown Utility Board’s Star City Waste Water Treatment Plant, is closed today, Jan. 5, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will also be closed tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 6, from 8 a.m. to 3. p.m.
