Update on the construction along Mississippi Street
MUB's contractor has completed installation of the 30" raw water line in front of the ball fields along Mississippi Street and will now move to between East Parkway and M-Tec Drive. This work necessitates the closure of Mississippi Street in that area from Monday, March 18th to Thursday, March 21st. The road will reopen to traffic around approximately 5 p.m. each evening. Buses and emergency vehicles will be permitted access. We apologize for the inconveniences this causes and are working as quickly and safely as possible to get the work completed. The pipeline being installed will connect the Flegal Dam and Reservoir along Cobun Creek Road with the water treatment plant on Don Knotts Boulevard.
