Planned Water Outage Scheduled for Don Knotts Blvd. on August 25
Morgantown Utility Board (MUB) is advising customers of a planned water outage on Don Knotts Blvd. scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m.
The outage is necessary to allow MUB crews to complete a water line tie-in associated with the recent West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) work on Smithtown Road. This will affect customers at 82, 130, and 5000 Greenbag Road, 20 Smithtown Road, and MUB's RT73 feed to Clinton Water Association.
Following the outage, all affected customers will be placed under a precautionary boil water advisory for a minimum of 24 hours. Customers will receive additional notifications when the advisory is issued and again when it is lifted.
