Morgantown Utility Board contractor Insight Pipe is beginning the installation of Cured In-Place Pipe in the Evansdale neighborhood. This work will renew the sanitary pipes in the neighborhood without the need for excavating entire road surfaces. What You Can Expect

  • Crews will be working in and around the sanitary sewer manholes and lines within the neighborhood.
  • Equipment and vehicles may be parked along the street near work zones.
  • You may notice temporary lane restrictions, noise from cleaning or cutting equipment, or brief traffic delays.
  • Sewer services are not expected to be interrupted during this work.

How You Can Help

  • Please avoid work areas as much as possible.
  • Ensure pets and children stay away from work zones even when the contractor is not present.
  • If you experience any unusual sewer backups during these activities, please contact MUB immediately.

Timeline

  • Point Repairs & Cleaning: Completed by end of January
  • Full Sanitary & Storm Sewer Lining: Possible completion in mid-spring
