Upcoming Paving Projects: Fayette, Spruce, and Walnut Streets
April 20–22 | 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Morgantown Utility Board will be completing two paving projects next week as part of recent waterline installations. All work will be performed by MUB contractor Parrotta Paving.
Fayette Street & Spruce Street
Parrotta Paving will mill and pave Fayette Street and a section of Spruce Street at the traffic signal. This work is in response to MUB’s installation of 320 feet of new 2-inch waterline along Fayette Street.
- Dates: Monday–Wednesday, April 20–22
- Hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Traffic Impacts: One lane of Spruce Street will remain open at all times
Walnut Street
Walnut Street will be milled and paved from University Avenue to the Monongahela River, concluding work on a 26-inch waterline that was bored approximately 50 feet beneath the Monongahela River.
- Dates: Monday–Wednesday, April 20–22
- Hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Traffic Impacts: Walnut Street will be closed within the work area during construction hours
Both Fayette Street and Walnut Street will be open to traffic during nonwork hours.
