​MUB announces downtown road and lane closures

Morgantown Utility Board announces the below road and lane closures to move, fuse, and install a 26” HDPE water line. This work is part of the Chaplin Hill Project.

  • Beginning Tuesday, November 4 at 8 a.m. and occurring continuously until Wednesday, November 12, Morgantown Utility Board will close Walnut Street from University Avenue down to the Monongahela River.
  • Beginning Wednesday, November 5 through Friday, November 7 the following lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., reopening at the end of each workday.
    • The left-hand lane of Walnut Street from Chestnut Street to University Avenue
    • The right-hand lane of University Avenue from Beechurst Avenue/Fayette Street to just beyond Walnut Street.
