MUB plans water outage along River Road
On Wednesday, November 5th, Morgantown Utility Board will complete the installation of 450 feet of 4-inch water line beneath River Road at Lower Booth Road. The project will replace a temporary service line installed following a landslide along River Road this past summer.
Once the new water line is in place, customer service lines will be tied in. Because the tie-ins require an outage in water service, on Wednesday, November 5th a boil water advisory will be issued to customers located at 1992 - 2054 River Road, 48 Booth Road, 12 - 107 H Street, 28 Lower Booth Road and 87 Lower Booth Road. Because the water line is installed via directional boring beneath River Road, no traffic disruptions to River Road are expected.
