Precautionary Boil Water Advisory - Mileground
The Morgantown Utility Board issues a precautionary boil water advisory for customers located on:
- 1100–1141 Eisenhower Drive
- 1100–1126 Patton Drive
- 21–70 Montgomery Avenue
- 1704 and 1706 Mileground Road
This advisory is necessary due to a planned service outage required to complete a water line tie‑in for the Berwood Townhomes Development. The outage is scheduled to occur today from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Once water service is restored, affected customers should boil all water before consumption until the advisory is lifted. Water should be brought to a rolling boil for one minute, then allowed to cool before use. Bottled water may also be used.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for:
- Drinking
- Making ice
- Brushing teeth
- Food preparation
After the system recovers, MUB will collect additional water quality samples in the affected area. These tests require a minimum of 24 hours to complete.
