​Public Notice - Deckers Creek

A landslide near the University Avenue Bridge damaged a 30” concrete sewer line that runs along Deckers Creek. Due to the release of untreated sanitary sewage into Deckers Creek, we ask that the public avoid contact with Deckers Creek from the University Avenue Bridge to the river until the issue is resolved.

MUB engineers are meeting with a contractor tomorrow (Tuesday) to discuss pumping around the damaged area. Please note that the slide occurred on the opposite side of the creek than the rail trail, so the trail is not impacted. We will keep the public informed as repairs to the damaged line progress.
