Scotts Run Road Construction

Beginning Friday, August 28, a portion of Scotts Run Road to the north of Blue Horizon Drive will be a single lane in the area of Boyers Bridge. Temporary traffic signals will be placed to control traffic along the roadway. During the lane closure, MUB crews and contractor will relocate roughly 875 feet of 8-inch water line. This work is part of the West Virginia Division of Highways plans to relocate Boyers Bridge and a portion of Scotts Run Road.

Water line relocation is expected to last approximately four weeks. When this work is complete, MUB crews will begin work on a water line along Morris Bridge, also on Scotts Run Road. Public notification will be provided when the Morris Bridge work is scheduled to begin. The cost of both projects, including necessary directional drilling and water line work, is $550,500.
