MUB to close a portion of West Run Road
Beginning Monday, July 26 and continuing for three weeks, West Run Road will be closed from Silverbell Drive to Business Park Drive. No thru traffic will be permitted during this time. This work is necessary while MUB crews complete two separate road crossings to install roughly 135-feet of new 8” sewer line, 120-feet of 12” steel casing, and various other appurtenances. “No thru traffic” signs will be posted on West Run Road between Stewartstown Road and Pt. Marion Road. Local residents will be permitted entrance to their homes. Traffic will be rerouted using Pt. Marion Road and Stewartstown Road. This work is part of a Department of Highways (DOH) project along West Run. The cost of MUB’s work is estimated at $248,000, all of which is funded by the DOH.
