Project Description:

The project is located off Fairchance Road in Monongalia County, West Virginia. The work includes construction of +/- 4,450 LF of 8” HDPE water line, +/- 3,000 LF of 8” PVC water line, +/- 5,020 LF of 6” PVC water line, +/- 890 LF of 4” HDPE water line, +/- 3,770 LF of 2” HDPE water line, four (4) fire hydrants, twenty-eight (28) water service and pits, one (1) pressure reducing vault and other related appurtenances.

Bidders must comply with the requirements for the WVDEP AML program which includes but not limited to the following; Affirmative Action and Minority Businesses, Women’s Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Area Firms, the Davis-Bacon Act, Build America Buy America (BABA) Act, the Copeland Act, and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standard Act (CWHSSA).

Bidding Documents must be obtained from the Issuing Office which is the Morgantown Utility Board, 278 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, WV 26507-0852, (304) 292-8443. A nonrefundable fee of $150.00 will be required to be acknowledged as a Plan Holder of Record. Plan Holder of Record will be given official bidding documents including full-sized drawings. Only Plan Holders of Record may be allowed to submit official bids. Bidding Documents must be paid for and obtained by 2:00 pm Monday, September 28, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the Morgantown Utility Board offices at 278 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, WV. Representatives of Owner will be present to discuss the project. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the conference.
