On Wednesday, May 4th, MUB will begin work on a water tank in your area. This work will require that fire hydrants in your neighborhood be covered to prohibit use. Please note that the Morgantown fire department has been consulted and has planned accordingly. Should you experience a change in water pressure or water quality issues, please notify MUB at (304) 292-8443 any time of day or night. The project itself, which involves repairing and painting the water tank located at eastern end of Grandview Avenue, will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks to complete. During the work period, pumps will be utilized to ensure water pressure. We expect to make the transition to these pumps on Thursday, May 5th. While no service interruptions are expected as we make the changeover to the pumps, should an issue arise we will notify you via text and/or voicemail.
