ANNUAL PAYMENT DISCOUNT-2024

TO: CITY OF WESTOVER GARBAGE SERVICE CUSTOMERS

You are billed bi-monthly for the City of Westover to perform municipal refuse collection.

However, if you choose to pay for the entire service year at this time, which is from August 2024 through August 2025, the City of Westover will discount your annual service fee by $20.00.This can be accomplished by sending total payment for enclosed utility bill plus an additional $100.00 to Morgantown Utility Board (MUB) by due date of the utility bill.If you are an ACH Draft Customer, MUB will automatically deduct the amount due on the utility bill, therefore, please send payment of $100.00 to qualify for the discount.

The City of Westover is also offering the Senior Rate of $100.00 for the year if your gross annual household income is less than $15,000.00 (PROOF OF INCOME IS REQUIRED TO RECEIVE A DISCOUNT COUPON).To receive the Senior Discount, you must contact Christa or Jennifer at City Hall (304-296-6860). Send total payment for enclosed utility bill, plus payment of $76.00, stub, and discount coupon to MUB by due date of the utility bill.If you are an ACH Draft Customer, MUB will automatically deduct the amount due on the utility bill, therefore, please send payment of $76.00 to qualify for the discount.

REMINDERS:

  • GARBAGE IS NOT TO BE PUT OUT FOR COLLECTION MORE THAN 12 HOURS IN ADVANCE.
  • IF YOUR NORMAL PICK-UP DAY FALLS ON A HOLIDAY, YOUR TRASH WILL BE PICKED UP THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY.
  • RECYCLING IS PICKED UP ON THE SAME DAY AS YOUR REGULAR TRASH.
