First hydrant flow testing on May 15
Morgantown Utility Board will flow test fire hydrants in the First Ward area. As a result, residents in the test area my experience discolored water. If this occurs, the issue can typically be solved by running your faucet on cold at the lowest point of the house until the water runs clear. This may require that you continuously run your water for 10-15 minutes. If your water doesn't clear the first time, wait a few minutes and repeat the process. You should also remember to avoid washing clothes until the water clears. Additional information is available at https://mub.org/fire-hydrants.
